Features of the use of the method of teaching psychology through film. The humanities of any university consist of lectures, seminars, Student Independent Study (SIS). This
method can be used in all forms of lessons. In our research, we use this method with following working model:
• Theoretical topics of psychology were analyzed during the lecture.
• During the seminar students make a description, analysis of the practical vision of the theoretical topics.
• In Student Independent is given a psychological analysis of psychological characteristics of a particular
movie character. The context of movie related with theoretical topics of psychology which students studied
during the previous lecture.
Psychological analysis of the personality of a film character is a description of the personality of a movie
character based on theories of psychology. The main requirement for the psychological analysis of the
personality of the film character:
• Making any description in accordance with the theories of psychology.
• Don't evaluate or test the character. For many students to follow to this requirement is difficult. The main
reason is that we humans tend to evaluate and test any person, any situation. But as we know one of the main
principles of psychologist work is don't evaluate or test of clients’ personality.
Following above requirements, is the basis for the effective use of the method of teaching psychology
through movie (Bary`shnikova, 2017).
