Animalistic images and symbols in art as elements of cultural values //Pedagogy and

The preservation and translation of the richest spiritual and cultural heritage of the Kazakh
people is one of the key in the idea of «Mangilik еl», aimed and future-oriented for the further
prosperity of the state and society. Value-oriented world outlooks have left their imprint on the
cultural and genetic code of the nation and the mentality of traditional culture. Today our goal is to
systematize research on preserving the legacy of the past, increasing cultural potential, educating
the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, forming national consciousness and cultural
values. In this article, an attempt is made to show the historical predisposition to use animalistic
images and symbols in art, which are prerequisites for shaping cultural values. Their role and
place in the history of world art and creative activity can significantly increase interest in national
culture and traditional art. And in a private interdisciplinary study establishes a continuum link
between them. The authors believe that the reference to them and their use as an object of the
cultural, aesthetic and artistic potential of art are elements of the formation of cultural values that
are widely used and common in the traditional art of the Kazakh people. The article was prepared
in the course of work on a scientific project on grant financing of the Ministry of Education and
Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the theme of the project No. AP 05130242 «Revival of
national consciousness and cultural values in the context of the idea of «Mangilik el» in higher art
education» on priority «Scientific foundations «Mangilik el» (education XXI century, fundamental
and applied research in the humanities)» on the sub-priority «Fundamental and applied research in
the field of socio-economic and human sciences. Research in the field of culture, traditions, values
in the conditions of modernization of society and the state».
