Film as a basis for formation of communication skills of students at training Russian as a foreign language The article discusses the use of video as a means of formation of communicative competence of students in teaching
Russian as a foreign language. The problem of the communicative competence and ways to achieve it is the most
relevant in the methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language. This technology contributes to the development of
listening skills, non-verbal communication, to increase students' motivation, to get introduction to the culture of the
country of the learning language. Mastering the basics of Russian language communication is a kind of base not only
for the formation of communicative culture and competence, expanding background knowledge, but also for the
professional development of the individual student. Students get a visual representation of the life and traditions of the
Russian people and begin to understand the realities of the Russian language. Psychological characteristics of the
impact of training videos to the students help for intensification of the educational process and create favorable
conditions for the formation of the communicative competence of students.
