Spiritual revival is the renewal of a person's inner world, consciousness, the ability to
accept new changes. The name "Revival" should not be limited to historical experience and
national traditions. On the contrary, it is necessary to be able to turn the best traditions that have
stood the test of time into important prerequisites for successful revival. If the revival does not
take root in the national and spiritual roots of the country, it will go away from the correct path
or direction. At the same time, spiritual revival is important for its ability to reconcile the
various poles of national consciousness.
It is a platform of national memory, which harmoniously connects the horizons of
history, creative present and bright future.
We want our people to take every step with confidence in the future, making the rich
history and unbroken national traditions of antiquity a solid foundation for future prosperity.
1. Competitiveness
Today, not only the individual, but also the entire population has a chance to succeed
only if they increase their competitiveness.
Competitiveness is the ability of a nation to offer a better world in terms of price or
quality in a regional or global market. It can be not only a material product, but also knowledge,
services, intellectual products or quality labor resources. The future success of a nation is
determined not by its natural resources, but by the competitiveness of its people. Therefore,
every citizen of Kazakhstan and the whole nation, must have the qualities of the XXI century.
For example, factors such as computer literacy, knowledge of foreign languages, cultural
openness are in the category of prerequisites for everyone to move forward.
Therefore, programs such as "Digital Kazakhstan", "Trilingual Education", "Cultural
and Interfaith Harmony" are aimed at preparing our nation, that is, all citizen of Kazakhstan for
the requirements of the XXI century.
2. Pragmatism
For centuries, our people have been leading an unprecedented ecological lifestyle,
preserving the nature of their native land and using its resources carefully and wisely.
Pragmatism means a clear knowledge of your national and personal wealth, the ability
to use it sparingly and plan your future accordingly, to avoid waste and excess, vulgarity and
poverty. In today's society, the symbol of true culture is not an inappropriate luxury. On the
contrary, restraint, contentment, and simplicity, as well as thrift and reasonableness, show
24
foresight. The pragmatism of behavior is the rational use of everything in this way, giving
priority to achieving specific goals, education, a healthy lifestyle, professional development.
This is the only successful example in the modern world. If a nation or an individual
does not set a goal and strive for it, populist ideologies will emerge that will not only fail
tomorrow, but will destroy the country. Unfortunately, there are many examples in history
where entire nations have been swept away by imaginary ideologies that will never be realized.
3. Preservation of national identity
The very concept of national revival means the perfection of national consciousness.
It has two sides.
First, to expand the horizons of national consciousness.
Second, to change a number of features of the national identity, while preserving its
essence.
What are the dangers of the models of modernization that are now flourishing? The
challenge is to see modernization as a replacement for everyone's model of national
development, a universal model. However, life itself has shown that this view is fundamentally
wrong. Virtually every region and every state is developing its own model of development.
Our national traditions, language and music, literature, traditions, in short, our national
spirit must remain forever.
We want every citizen of Kazakhstan to understand two rules that will never be broken
and get rich.
The first is the national code, if the national culture is not preserved, there will be no
revival.
The second is to move forward.
4. The triumph of knowledge
The desire to be educated, open-minded and vigilant is a quality in our blood. A lot of
work has been done during the years of independence. We have trained tens of thousands of
young people at the world's leading universities. This work began with the launch of the
Bolashak program in the early 1990s. A number of universities of a very high level have been
opened in the country, and a system of intellectual schools has been formed. Many other things
have been done. However, the triumph of knowledge must be universal. There are obvious and
good reasons. If we look at the trends of the technological revolution, half of the current
professions will disappear in the next decade.
5. Non-revolutionary, evolutionary development of Kazakhstan
Many problems arise due to the fact that, despite the fact that the world is rapidly
changing, the mass consciousness remains in "hearths, hearths." At first glance, it seems that
more than a billion people around the world need to learn English as a means of professional
communication, as well as their mother tongue.
nness of consciousness means three features of the mind.
First of all, it allows you to understand what is happening in the world, in the territory
of the Earth and in your country.
Second, it means being prepared for all the changes that the influx of new technology
will bring. In the next ten years, our way of life: work, life, leisure, housing, human relations,
in short, everything will change radically. We must be ready for that too.
Third, it is an opportunity to learn from the experience of others and absorb the best
achievements. The two great powers in Asia - Japan and China today - are a real example of
how to take advantage of these opportunities.
In conclusion, spiritual renewal should be continuous, not limited. Because in today's
rapidly changing world of science and technology, we do not want to increase our
competitiveness, constantly strive as a creative nation, cheer ourselves up, innovate and prosper.
25
In a world that is developing at cosmic speed, the migration of civilization will take us a long
time without waiting for us. Then he catches up with the migrant and finds it hard to keep up
with him. Therefore, spiritual revival must go hand in hand with our revival and development
as a nation. But it is difficult to measure this spiritual revival in five years, decades. Because
this is the spiritual world. And spiritual revival must be felt by man and society. If we can raise
the spirit of the Kazakh people, increase their competitiveness, develop art, science, culture and
traditions, create a society of kind, honest, intelligent, educated, fraternal, nationalist, embassy,
compassionate, patriotic people, then each country will be spiritually revived, the same the
citizen himself feels the same.
