basic theoretical principles and methodology of ethnology. Discipline 
module  includes  a  detailed  review  of  the  basic  anthropological 
concepts,  knowledge  of  which  is  necessary  for  an  understanding  of 
modern  archeology.  The  module  describes  the  main  theories  of 
ethnicity  and  ethnic  classification,  processes  anthropogenesis  and 
ethnogenesis,  the  complex  issues  associated  with  the  mechanism  of 
formation of ethnic psychology, its structure and the man's awareness 
of  belonging  to  the  respective  ethnic  group. Special  attention  is  paid 
to  the  date  methodological  development  which  contributes  to  the 
development  of  the  skills  of  independent  research  approach  to  the 
study of ethnology. 
Students  will  learn  the  basic  concepts  to  be  operated  on  this  science, 
master  the  techniques  of  ethnographic  research,  including  ethnographic

Historical Anthropology - one of the important directions in the study 
of social and cultural history of mankind. The aim of the course is to 
develop  students'  understanding  of  the  physical  type  of  person,  its 
characteristic features and familiarize them with the directions of the 
processes  of  ethnic  and  racial  differences      modern  and  ancient 
peoples.  The  task  of  subjects’  module  is  also  teaching  students  the 
methods  of  investigation  and  analysis  of  the  individual  on 
anthropological  grounds.  Discipline  module  focused  on  the  study  of 
the  history  of  cultural  anthropology,  cults  and  rituals  that  existed 
among the ancient tribes that inhabited Eurasia.

linguistic structures and economic and cultural types. Considerable 
space  is  reserved  in  the  classification  program  of  traditional  and 
contemporary culture of the peoples of Eurasia, modern ethnic and 
ethno-cultural processes.

course  reveals  all  stages  of  the  Stone  Age  and  classifies  data 
collection  Stoneware  and  cultures.  Objective  of  the  course  is  to 
train professionals in the Stone Age. 
- Knowledge of the world of archaeological cultures, eras and periods of 
the Stone Age; 
-  Should  be  able  to  use  the  methods  of  determining  the  age  of  the 
monument, archaeological research methods, equipment manufacture of 
stone  artifacts.  In  addition,  the  student  should  be  able  to  do  a

spiritual culture of the people of Eurasia in the Bronze Age. In this 
connection,  the  following  objectives:  development  of  theoretical 
issues  related  to  periodization,  chronology  and  the  cultures  of  the 
Bronze Age, knowledge of socio-economic relations of the Bronze 
Age,  the  study  of  nature,  common  features  and  characteristics  of 
the  local-chronological  monuments  tribes  who  inhabited  the 
territory  of  Eurasia  in  the  Bronze  Age;  study  of  the  general  and 
special  in bronze  cultures  of  Eurasia  and  the  adjacent  cultural  and 
historic regions.

The module provides a more in-depth knowledge of the archeology 
section of the ancient world - the early Iron Age. This includes not 
only the characteristics of archaeological cultures, but also presents 
the theoretical problem.The purpose of course is to give knowledge 
of  the  archaeological  complex  of  early  nomadic  cultures  of  the 
ancient world with the release of traits that unite them with a set of 
characteristics  that  distinguish  culture.  The  course  reflects  the 
current state of the main problems of chronology and periodization 
of  certain  crops,  the  problem  of  their  origin,  the  ratio  of  the 
archaeological material with known historical ethnic groups. In the 
theoretical part presents the main socio - historical issues: the social 
structure, political history, civilization level.

culture.

Medieval Archaeology

The  purpose  of  the  module  provide  students  specializing  in  the 
direction  of  archeology  of  medieval  archeology  of  Eurasia,  stages 
of  development,  the  material  and  spiritual  culture.  And  also  to 
show  their  role  in  the  development  of  our  country  and  in  the 
ethnogenesis of the indigenous people. Objective of the course is to 
train  specialists  in  the  specified  profile  learning  using  theoretical 
knowledge  and  practical  (laboratory)  work.  Form  students  an  idea 
of the origin of the medieval towns and villages, their localization 
and cultural heritage of the nomadic tribes.

the medieval towns and settlements;

This module deals with the history of architecture in Central Asia. 
Its origin, formation and development. Explains the characteristics 
peculiar  to  the  eastern  architecture  in  general  and  the  specific 
differences  Kazakhstan  monumental  architecture.  Discipline 
designed  to  form  students'  stable  understanding  of  ancient  and 
medieval architecture and monumental art of the Kazakhs and other 
neighboring ethnic groups, their role in the social and cultural life 
of the region. 
- Knowledge of the history of buildings and structures, the most famous 
architectural works and memorial complex of the region, as well  as the 
tradition of building domed buildings, explore the history of this type of 
architectural monuments of Central Asia.
