historical geology and evolutionary theory.

Objective of the course - to familiarize students with the basic
theoretical issues and the provisions of Ethnology. On the basis of the
course, students learn the techniques and conceptual apparatus of
Ethnology and their application to the study of ethnography of the
peoples of the world. The main content of the discipline devoted to
the description of the ethnic structure of the world, including
Kazakhstan, as well as geographical location, anthropological,
linguistic, and economic and cultural classification. Considerable
space is reserved ethnogenesis and ethnic history, characteristic of
traditional and modern culture of the peoples of the world, including
modern ethno-cultural and ethno-confessional processes in the world.

basic theoretical principles and methodology of ethnology. Discipline
module includes a detailed review of the basic anthropological
concepts, knowledge of which is necessary for an understanding of
modern archeology. The module describes the main theories of
ethnicity and ethnic classification, processes anthropogenesis and
ethnogenesis, the complex issues associated with the mechanism of
formation of ethnic psychology, its structure and the man's awareness
of belonging to the respective ethnic group. Special attention is paid
to the date methodological development which contributes to the
development of the skills of independent research approach to the
study of ethnology.
Students will learn the basic concepts to be operated on this science,
master the techniques of ethnographic research, including ethnographic

Historical Anthropology - one of the important directions in the study
of social and cultural history of mankind. The aim of the course is to
develop students' understanding of the physical type of person, its
characteristic features and familiarize them with the directions of the
processes of ethnic and racial differences modern and ancient

methods of investigation and analysis of the individual on
anthropological grounds. Discipline module focused on the study of
the history of cultural anthropology, cults and rituals that existed
among the ancient tribes that inhabited Eurasia.

characteristics that distinguish culture. The course reflects the
current state of the main problems of chronology and periodization
of certain crops, the problem of their origin, the ratio of the
archaeological material with known historical ethnic groups. In the

direction of archeology of medieval archeology of Eurasia, stages
of development, the material and spiritual culture. And also to
show their role in the development of our country and in the
ethnogenesis of the indigenous people. Objective of the course is to
train specialists in the specified profile learning using theoretical
knowledge and practical (laboratory) work. Form students an idea
of the origin of the medieval towns and villages, their localization
and cultural heritage of the nomadic tribes.

peculiar to the eastern architecture in general and the specific
