This article explores Literary interrelationship derived from folklore of the Kazakh and
Uzbek peoples. Literary interrelationship between them is divided into chronological stages in
accordance with the principles of historical development. In this regard, purpose of the article is to
identify historical basis of the Kazakh-Uzbek literary ties and to determine essence of their
development.
If the presence of general literature in the context of historical events is explained by the fact
that Turkic people with common roots were located in the same region, did not live as a separate
nation, the literature from the time of the founding of the Kazakh Khanate up to our days has their
own peculiarities and similarities.
2018 year was proclaimed as the year of Uzbekistan in our country; hence 2019 year is the
year of Kazakhstan in Uzbekistan. In this regard, we believe that spiritual unity and literary ties
will continue to deepen further.
