| The marriage of Batyr as a plot of Kazakh epos

The article analyzes the plot of the wedding rite of the batyrs - one of the most important
components of the structural composition of the Kazakh epic. From the first sources of the epic, the
distinctive features of the wedding plot in the classic epos, which reached further artistic perfection,
are determined. The development of marriage in human society is considered in combination with
the nature of the epos. From the ancient epic, within the framework of genre patterns to the dastan
epos, his activity is considered in the composition of verses, in the embodiment of the character.
