| Results. The main goal of our experimental work was to prove the hypothesis put forward
that the process of forming lexical competence will proceed more successfully in natural bilinguals than in monolinguals. According to the results of the test taken repeatedly, students showed significant progress in using vocabulary of the target language. By comparing the results of two target groups, the EG with methodology for development of competence justified the predicted results and proved the question of positive affect of the acquired languages on the target language.
