FORMATION OF INTEREST IN THE SUBJECT
IN CHILDREN WITH MENTAL RETARDATION
Abstract
Mental retardation is a lag in development from the
norms adopted at a certain age, in which certain
cognitive functions suffer -thinking, memory, attention, emotional sphere. Therefore,
when working with
such children, many textbooks turn out to be ineffective, which is an urgent problem in the work of every
school. This article describes the ways of forming the interest of children with mental retardation in the
subject. The types of games, rules and typical features of children with mental retardation used
in the process
of organizing educational activities of children with mental retardation will also be considered.
