NATIONAL UNITY AS THE SPIRITUAL BASIS OF NATIONAL IDEA
OF INDEPENDENT KAZAKHSTAN
This article is devoted to the problem of formation of national idea in the conditions of independent Kazakhstan
which basis is the idea of national unity and consolidation of all Kazakhstan society round certain paradigms of
social development. Paying attention that now there are no doubts in importance and need of definition of Kazakh-
stan national idea bases, authors of the article show as in the course of realization of the tasks put in strategy of
Kazakhstan development in the XXI century search of formulation of national idea was carried out. Analyzing the
experience of formation of nation and national idea in such developed countries as France, Japan, the USA, authors
of the article prove that in the development of any state the national idea became historical mission and carried out
the consolidating function. Further, addressing to a question of formation of national idea in modern Kazakhstan,
authors come to a conclusion that it (national idea) in an ideal form repeats the process of formation of the uniform
Kazakhstan nation for which the national unity and consolidation of society were fundamental values and a criterion
of civilized development.
