Content- structural model of the use of information technology in the development creativity of college students This article discusses the information technology as a tool for the development of creative thinking of college
students. Referring to the works of reputable authors like Glushkov, N.V.Apatovoy, D.V.Matrosa explanations were
given specific notion of "information technology". It was also made substantial and structural model of the use of
information technology. Model the use of information technology has been made based on such basic processes as
collecting, shipping, processing, layout, storage, provision, use and protection of information. Along with this, the
article says about the main criteria that confront institutions that use advanced information technologies in the learning
process of students. It was the statistics of educational portal «Ya-student.kz». It should be noted that the concept of
"information technology" in the article is considered a "computer technology".
