| 4. Адьективті құрылымдардағы инфинитив
Бұл функциядағы инфинитивті қарастырмас бұрын атауына назар аударайық. «Адьектив» сөзі ағылшын тілінің «adjective» - «сын есім» деген мағынаны білдіреді. Сондықтан бұл құрылымды сын есімді құрылымдардағы инфинитив деп атауға болады. Бұл құрылымдағы инфинитив өздік және ырықсыз етістерде қолданылады. Ағылшын тілінде өздік етіс active voice, ал ырықсыз етіс passive voice деп аталады. Мұндай құрылымдағы инфинитив көбіне «қажеттілік» деген мағынаны береді.
