number of children with special educational needs has increased significantly, especially among this
category, children with intellectual disabilities occupy the largest part. Therefore, this category of children
needs a comprehensive study. The article provides an overview of special psychological and pedagogical
literature on the creative abilities of children with intellectual disabilities, and provides a theoretical analysis.
