undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate studies is the main goal throughout the world. In this paper,
author considers the role and methodological potential of new innovative communication
technologies, such as blog-technology, wiki-technology, the Moodle platform, in the formation of
academic writing competence among students. In the article, the author defines the terms blog-
technology, wiki-technology, the Moodle platform; considers their didactic properties and
methodological functions in the process of writing scientific and academic works.
