Conclusion. Based on the work carried out aimed at analyzing listening several conclusions
can be drawn. Listening is a complex specific type of internal speech activity, in which all the main
analyzers of a person are involved: auditory, visual and speech-motor. Also listening is associated
with other types of speech activity, namely speaking and reading, therefore the development of the
ability to perceive spoken speech by ear is an essential part of any type of work carried out orally.
Therefore, it is necessary to conduct training in listening. On the other hand, listening to a foreign
speech is a rather difficult task, much more difficult than reading material of equal language
content. The main difficulty lies in the fact that when listening to a foreign speech, many things can
hinder us: the content of the speech, its tempo, and the peculiarities of the speaker's speech.
Therefore, for the successful teaching of listening, a methodological system is needed that takes into
account these difficulties and ensures their overcoming. Thus, useful for improving listening should
be considered such training in which rather difficult exercises are performed, but subject to the
feasibility of these difficulties.
