sayings about critical thinking. One of the pithiest was said by R. Ennis: CT is “reasonable and
reflective thinking focused on deciding what to believe or do” [1, 166]. The term “Critical thinking”

th
century. It is a process that requires thinking deeply and carefully.

more innovative and progressive ways. It plays a crucial place in language teaching. We can
consider critical thinking as a phenomenon. It has certain reasons for its topicality and for being
phenomenon. First reason is that it’s inextricably related to speech
which is the main aspect in
thinking. Secondly, it helps students to instill a skill that let them find answers to questions, analyze
the details, digest the information instead of swallowing it entirely, to overcome stereotypes and so
on. Thirdly, its link with English language, considered as lingua franca, makes it highly important,
as it seems to be more and more dominant as the time passes. If we want to change students’
mentality, core change in teaching and learning processes is needed.
The question being discussed and debated for years is whether we should teach grammatical
rules in context or by learning by heart. In this article, we will take side of grammar taught in
contextualized concept. Instead of concentrating on rules in charts and annoying forms of use,

is a method that provides opportunities for learners to explore grammatical structure in context and
enhances comprehension of the language formation through practice. In textbooks,
learners
commonly encounter tasks apart from the learner’s real acceptance of the world and isolated
sentence, that don’t make much meaning.

thinking. On the basis of article, there are few links between them to
point out to make it more
explicit.
