проанализированы, а также описана важность перевода детской литературы.

The theme of the paper is named “Features of children’s literature translation”. This theme
represents obvious interest and topicality. Each genre of literature has specific features,
especially children’s literature.
Topicality of the given question represents moments which play key role in behavior of
children, their perception of the world and literary works are a source of knowledge which
concerns life. Children’s literature develops speech, language skills and fluency of language,
helps to feel deep and beauty of literature language. Children’s literature is a beneficial source
for children to receive information and knowledge.
692
Theory shows us that books are a strong source to behave children’s perception, they
influence on thinking of children and they form their picture about life, people and how do
people act in the world. Saying it more precise children’s literature created by people who
definitely know how to choose right words to attract children. Young readers study with good
books, literature gives them many possibilities to think and percept information, from good
books readers can receive beneficial and general information.
Theory tells us that young readers percept information in different ways, psychologists
determine different reactions on new information as individual perception. Many scientists assert
that childish literature attracts children due to young readers understand not only bright pictures
but they are interested in content, thinking process plays an important role.
The famous scientist Yuriy Bondarev named the process of reading as “the great
transformation from the external world to internal.” This phrase contains deep meaning due to
books are written to send readers author’s thoughts and readers receive it feeling the whole
meaning of a literary work [1].
Translation features of children’s literature are not an easy process and sometimes it
causes a controversy in different theories. Every literature genre which is translated by
specialists has its own tone and special words, also features are the main part of any translation,
when a person translates some materials which connected with children, features should be
considered. Current theories focus on the translation process and how to transfer information to
children.
Children’s literature is art. Art always expresses common things in a bright, interesting
way and forms things in different styles. Children’s literature written in a funnel style, such style
helps children to percept information easy.
Literature works and their translation have literary esthetical impact on a reader. A
translator is a main figure to transfer information to a reader. Information should be in that form
which an author writes.
The famous writer Chukovsky said in his book “Great art”: “overcoming of your own
esthetic is responsibility of all translations.” Before a translator takes a translation he should set
style of work for himself in order to transfer emotions and tone of a work. It’s better to reject a
translation than translate it bad.
The main problem which arises in translation is to transfer information in a proper way to a
reader.
Children’s literature is famous for majority of talented translators. Some works which were
translated by S. Ya. Marshak, S.I Chukovsky, O. Mandelshtam are wellknown for their great
translation.
The great popularity of works which were translated by Marshak is on the high level due to
Marshak always said in his books: “Translator should know all features of children’s literature
translation, such philosophy always helps translators to implement a translation properly and
successfully.”
Comparative analysis has importance in understanding of literary works writing. Different
authors write in their own way and translators should transfer it more precisely. Such analysis is
provided by author to show readers how are features found in texts , how are they changed , in
what manner a translator conveys the meaning of a literature work.
In literature heroes and their image play an important role. The main aim of translators to
convey created images to readers.
The first story of the fairy tale “The snow queen” chosen as an example for analysis.
Associative perception by readers always coincide in original language and in translation
language.
693
Hobgoblin was in a merry mood.
Тролль был в хорошем расположении духа.
We shall know about a wicked hobgoblin
Мы узнаем о дьявольском характере тролля.
A looking glass which had the power of making everything goodwhich becomes bad
Зеркало делало все прекрасное невзрачным.
Here the meaning consists in associative perception of children, despite translation was not
precise but readers understand key meaning, the images were preserved other words though.
The language of literature work should be understandable and fluent due to children can
percept literature forms and style of author, words which were chosen by author should
correspond an author’s style. In literature works for children the true meaning shouldn’t be
covered too much, it prevents reader to understand the main content and to catch the deep
meaning [2].
Emotional conveyance of author’s thoughts plays a huge role, because children percept
heroes’ feelings very fast. Translator has to keep expressive stylistic coloring and emotional
background. Emotive function has ability to affect readers in order to make them sensitive to a
work. Emotive function affects reader’s emotional condition, it’s a strong way to make a reader
interested in a book. In childish literature emotions are positive than negative because positive
emotions grow up good perception of the world.
“He he he he!” laughed the evil hobgoblin, success tickled him and he was very satisfied
with it.
“Хахахаха!” смеялся тролль, успех щекотал его и он очень уж был доволен этим.
This sentence expresses emotional state of the hero. Emotions describe his mood, he felt
satisfaction and malevolence. Therefore, an emotional component is the important part of
children’s literature translation. Such approach makes readers excited and dips them in reading
more and more.
All of these features are important and actual when a translator conveys the meaning of the
literary work and emotional component plays a big role, it makes the translation brighter and
full. Literary works are the main means of moral and esthetical children’s breeding. Literary
works connect with psychology, pedagogy and translation studies [3].
Translators have to preserve emotional state of works and convey precise images which
author created. Genre and style should be observed in common forms. An author who translates
a work should understand appropriate emotionally colored means properly and convey them to a
reader. A correct conveyance of an emotional component helps young readers to percept
information in a correct way.
