All learners understand the main idea of the topic
Most learners define answer of basic questions giving factual information
Some learners spell out high-frequency words accurately during writing activities

Reflection at the end of the lesson and teacher summary provides support for progress and achievement, and challenge to thinking and setting future objectives.
