INTRODUCTION (abstract of DSc thesis)
The aim of the research work is to study the role of folklore in the artistic
development of Uzbek poetry in the second half of the 20th century, and the
influence of mythology through folklore.
The object of research work is mainly Uzbek poetry of the second half of the
20th century, including poetry and folklore of Gafur Gulom, Zulfiya, E. Vahidov,
A.Aripov, Rauf Parfi, Shavkat Rahmon, Usman Azim, Usman Kuchkar, Sadriddin
Salim Bukhari and the works of others poets served as a source.
The scientific novelty of the research work is the following:
the influence of folklore on the perfection of Uzbek poetry in the second half
of the 20th century was proved by comparing traditional and original aspects of
poetry and folklore relations of the period;
the use of a proverb in various poetic works in poetry of different ages, in the
work of several poets of the same age, curse and applause which are considered as
analytical folklore in the use of written poetry were scientifically justified;
developing national spirit inthe poetry has
become a part of the way of
enhancing nationalism, and the existence of folklore in the examples of poets
creative activity who enriched the art of folklore has been proved;
the poetic laws associated with the folklore and the written literature and the
influence of
folklore on the creative style, artistic processing of genres, images,
motivations, rhythms related to folk art, the development of new genres have been
shown by viewingthe achievements and shortcomings of the writers;
possibility of folklore in influencing the style of poetry of the period was
shown with the comparison of nationality of the 50-60s of the 20th century in Uzbek
poetry; the motives of the independence of Uzbekistan;
emergence of literary alla, literary “yor-yor”, poetic puzzles in Uzbek poetry,
and genre of poetic anecdotes by mastering the features of alla, “yor-yor”, puzzles,
anecdotes were proved in the second half of the 20th century;
It has been proven that the myths and the attributes
of water and fire have
transformed into poetry, from folklore to written poetry, and have acquired new
poetic
functions;
apples, cherries, mulberry which are considered a tree used in oral and written
poetry; flowers, such as oak, purple, tulips, which are mythological flowers; the
poetic essence of modern poetry of Kenjabotir and the character of a horse is defined;
