1.Pchylogical, social story 2.The story is written bt Nicholas Monsarrat (22 March 1910 - 8 August 1979) was a British novelist. 3.The major characters are: Octavian - a rich man, charming, accomplished host, and he was a hospitable, amiable man; German princess - pretty woman, maybe a little bit tricky, and a bit lawyer; Author - Octavian’s nephew The minor character is: French Cabinet minister - he is Octavian’s guest. 4.This story has: exposition complication climax of the story is when German Princess found out that her ring was lost. dynoma of the story, Octavian became a poor man and he died with the special sadness of a hospitable host who never gave a single lunch or dinner party for the last thirty years of his life. 5.The main idea of the story says that nowadays, there are many people in our lives, like the German princess, who deceive other people. And by deceiving other people, they earn some money. On the contrary, there are not so many people like Octavian in our life who protect their friends and their honor, while sacrificing their property. 6.Writing style of the story: Author’s speculation, some elements of dialogue and with indirect speech Speak on topic «Home is where the Heart is» In my opinion, home is a small world where people live by their own rules. This is a place where we feel comfortable, warm, reliable. The English say, "My home is my castle." And for me, it is. My home is a place where I am protected from the whole world, where I don’t need to adapt to the generally accepted rules or someone's invented patterns of behavior. This is a place that has everything you need to feel like a full-fledged person. In it, good is done and care and calmness reign. At the same time, the house is not a room, not a territory, not a "real estate object". And I believe that what matters is not the size of the place where we live, but how we feel about it. Home is where the Heart is. Home is the people you care about. You can feel at home even in the desert, if you are surrounded by people you can trust. For me, home is where I am expected at any time and loved, where someone shares happiness and grief with me. My home is where my parents, siblings, grandparents, friends are. I believe that this is true for everyone. Home is a place that awakens the most pleasant feelings, high emotions in the soul of every person.
