2. The purpose and objectives of the Strategy
Section anti-corruption strategy, dedicated to the goals and objectives of this strategy is a direct reflection of the provisions of the Strategy "Kazakhstan-2050" and certain provisions of the Concept of Legal Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the period from 2010 to 2020.
The main objective of the Strategy advocates improving the efficiency of anti-corruption policy, the involvement of anti-corruption movement in the whole of society through the creation of an atmosphere of "zero" tolerance for any manifestation of corruption and reducing the level of corruption in Kazakhstan.
Achieving the goal requires a certain indicators. Indicators - indicators or benchmarks is determining the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the observed phenomenon or process.
The target indicators are set in the Strategy:
- The quality of public services;
- Public confidence in the institutions of state power;
- The level of legal culture of the population;
- Increase the country's prestige in the international community and the improvement of relevant international ratings, including the rating of Kazakhstan to the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) in the Transparency International.
Achieving this goal involves the solution of a system of interconnected tasks.
The objectives of the Strategy are:
1) The fight against corruption in the public service;
2) the introduction of the institute of public control;
3) control of corruption in the private sector and quasi-public;
4) prevention of corruption in the courts and law enforcement agencies;
5) the level of the formation of anti-corruption culture;
6) the development of international cooperation on anti-corruption.
3. Measures against corruption
