Lecture - visualization
This type of a lecture is result of new use of the principle of presentation, the content of this principle changes under the influence of the given psychology and pedagogical science, forms and methods of active training.
The lecture - visualization teaches students to transform oral and written information to a visual form that forms at them professional thinking due to systematization and allocation of the most significant, essential elements of content of training.
This process of visualization is curtailment of cogitative contents, including different types of information, in an evident image; have been apprehended, this image, maybe, is developed and to serve as a support for cogitative and practical actions.
Any form of evident information contains problematical character elements. Therefore the lecture - visualization promotes creation of a problem situation which permission unlike a problem lecture where questions are used, happens on the basis of the analysis, synthesis, generalization, folding or expansion of information, i.e. to inclusion of vigorous cogitative activity. A task of the teacher to use presentation forms which on only supplemented - verbal information but also were data carriers. The more in evident information, the degree of cogitative activity of the pupil is higher than problematical character.
Preparation by the teacher given lectures consists in changing, redesigning educational information on a subject of lecture occupation in a visual form for representation to students via technical means of training or manually (schemes, drawings, drawings, etc.). Students at whom the corresponding abilities will be formed in this regard, to develop the high level of activity, to be brought up the personal relation to the content of training also can be involved in this work.
Reading a lecture comes down to the coherent, developed commenting by the teacher of the prepared evident materials which is completely opening a subject of this lecture. Information provided thus shall provide systematization of knowledge which is available for pupils, creation of problem situations and a possibility of their permission; to show different methods of presentation that is important in cognitive and professional activity.
It is the best of all to use different types of visualization - natural, graphic, symbolical, - each of which or their combination is chosen depending on content of a training material. Upon transition from the text to a visual form or just seeing presentation to another information quantity can be lost. But it is a benefit since allows to concentrate attention on the most important aspects and features of content of a lecture, to promote his understanding and assimilation.
It is the best of all to use this type of a lecture at a stage of entering of pupils in the new section, a subject, discipline. The problem situation arising at the same time creates a mental set on material studying, development of skills of evident information in other types of training.
