It's worth noting that communicative language instruction is closely linked to a variety of activities,
including group work, pair work, open or cued dialogues, role acting, and so on. These exercises are
known as communicative activities, and they are created by teachers to
allow students to utilise
language that they have previously learned in a range of aspects.
Many researchers have sought to establish distinguishing characteristics of communicative
language instruction [1, p.4; 3, p.65]. Several studies have been conducted in this area, resulting in the
growth and spread of communicative language instruction. Furthermore, researchers such as Guthrie,
Long and Sato, Nunan have conducted studies to better understand how instructors utilise
communicative approaches in the classroom [4, p.35-54; 5, p.268-285; 6, p.136-145]. They attempted
to assess instructors' classroom conduct as well as the extent to which communicative approaches were
implemented in their classrooms. The majority of these research show that using a communicative
strategy in the classroom is uncommon.
