INTENSIFICATION OF CONSTRUCTION OF OIL- 
FIELD ROADS FROM PAVEMENT SLABS

Abstract. The article deals with the process of construction of oilfield roads made of 
reinforced concrete slabs. The design of the manipulator with a vacuum load gripping device, 
which allows to intensify the construction, is proposed. 
Keywords: commercial road, buildable coverage, manipulator, a specialized set of 
machines, vacuum lifting device. 
 
Introduction 
The development of gas and oil fields in undeveloped areas is closely linked to the 
tracing and construction of new roads. The small network of existing roads, marshland, lack of 
navigability of rivers make most of these areas inaccessible. 
In transport industry fields and construction of pipelines is of great importance to the 
winter road, temporary roads, and advancing the construction of a permanent network of field 
roads. 
An important feature of commercial roads is the dynamics of changes in the intensity of 
cargo transportation on them. Despite the differences in the objects and the pace of their 
development, common to them is the growth of freight, relatively short - term stabilization and, 
as a rule, a sharp decline in time. A significant volume of cargo transportation is associated with 
the construction and drilling of deposits, the duration of which reaches 5-10 years. In the 
subsequent period of operation of the field, which averages 20-25 years, cargo transportation is 
determined by repair and maintenance works and their volume from the maximum volume 
during drilling and arrangement is insignificant [1-3]. 
Main part 
An important factor in the construction of commercial roads is the duration of work. The 
device of precast coatings of reinforced concrete slabs can reduce the value of this indicator, 
which is their advantage. In addition to the advantages of prefabricated coatings include: the 
possibility of their construction regardless of the season, as well as the use of roads of any 
category and re-use. 
In the construction of coatings of precast concrete slabs traditional technology provides 
the following processes [4]: 
1. 
Transportation and storage of paving slabs on the roadside; 
2. 
Filling and leveling on the finished base of the leveling layer of sand-cement 
mixture, white sludge or laying on the sandy base of geotextile material or seamless linings; 
3. 
Laying plates; 
4. 
The stiching plates-traffic; 
5. 
Relining sagging and unevenly stacked plates; 
6. 
Welding of brackets in joints; 
7. 
Filling of seams with mastic and solution. 
Technological scheme of the device precast concrete slabs is shown in figure 1.
