The  research  of  the  topic  of  teaching  a  professionally  oriented  foreign  language  is  very

important  in  the  context  of  solving  problems  on  improving  the  quality  of  the  formation  of  the

national  professional  education  system  of  the  Republic  of  Kazakhstan.  The  issues  of  intercultural

professional  communication  are  of  particular  relevance  in  connection  with  the  constantly

expanding  international  exchange  in  various  fields  of  professional  activity.   Intercultural

communicative competence is an integral component of the professional competence of a bachelor's

graduate  in  the  corresponding  field  of  training.  As  an  important  component  it  considers  the

linguistic and cultural  competence  which allows  communicants to  build a communication  process

taking into account the interlocutors’ cultural values expressed in their language. In this paper, we

propose  methods  on  the  formation  of  linguocultural  competence  based  on  situational  tasks  of
