HISTORICAL COMPLIANCE OF THE POEM OF MADELIKHODZHA SULTANKHODZHAULY
"THE KHIVAN CAMPAIGN"
Annotation
The purpose of the article isthe comparative analysis of the historical poem of Madelikhodzha
Sultankhodzhauly "Khivan campaign" with written historical sources. The lack of written sources in Kazakh
about this event reveals the historical importance of the historical poem. The statement of acts of the Russian
military in overthrowing of the Khivan khanate is compared with scientific data in the work of art, devoted to this
historical theme.
Substantive compliance and ideological art features of the poem , devoted to praise of the military governor of
the Syr Darya region general N.N. Golovochayev,are considered and characterized. The policy of the general
governor of Turkestan K.P. fon Kaufmanrelatively to local populationis considered here. The reasons of not
disclosure of characters of such outstanding people, representatives of the national liberation movement in Central
Asia,as Syzdyk Kenesarin, Telkhodzha Atygayev are defined. The conclusions about national liberation fight
against colonialists and also its reflection in historical memory are donein the article.
