Summary Individual-oriented approach as an important condition for the effectiveness of the learning process Sholpan Sh.Karbayeva – Cand. Sc., Assistant professor, Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay The article deals with individual-oriented approach to learning, and its impact on self-development and self- realization of the individual. New approaches to the organization of the higher pedagogical education put the question of the individual indicators of readiness for pedagogical activity in a new way. Рrofessional competence of the teacher is required to achieve a new quality of training and education of students, i.e., higher component of personality is the professional competence. Therefore, the article suggests structurally-level model of professional competence, where its characterizing components (motivational, purposeful, content-operational) are reflected, as well as the model of the modern pedagogical activity of the teacher and its components, as a professional knowledge, professional research and professional psychological knowledge. It is concluded that the individual-oriented approach to teaching the basic Вестник КазНПУ им.
